PAC - Playground Activity Coordinator

A program to train groups of students to help others on the playground to curb violence through cooperative games, structured sports, etc. Training in conflict resolution and compromise in order to develop emotional and physical skills, cooperation and trust.

What's Around the Corner - Confronting the Violence of Bullying

Involvement of students in valuable cultural experiences through drama, music and sport. Theatrical presentation of a one-act play using students as actors is part of the program.

Dialoguing

A program using verbal and non-verbal communication methods to open up the communication lines within the school community and start a dialogue about issues that are important to young people. Use of a school newspaper and lunch hour meetings to discuss strategies of how to involve the school in an open youth-centered communication.

Peacemakers Pursuing Paqthways to Peace
