2011-2012 Project Descriptions
Childrens Peace Garden
11-12-SF-02
School: John Bernard Croak Elementary
Board: CBVRSB
Project Leader: Tina Kennedy-Lohnes
The John Bernard Croak Peace Garden is an extension of our annual Peace Rally inspired by our school wide Virtues program. With the Sheonoroil funding we can complete Phase 1 and create an infrastructure that will reflect the future use of the space. By putting seating, more plant materials and a student designed inspirational plaque people can start to define how they will use the garden. Our intention is to create a positive focus that will bring school and community together for the purpose of revealing the underlying virtues of cooperation, unity, commitment and hopefulness our community possesses.
